The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring celestial beings, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will split off from the primary party to begin their own adventure, apart from the other two tables.

This warrior group features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

According to the DM, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might look mismatched, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to head next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise initiated the story’s plot—used the enemy for his selfish purposes, entering the hidden lair, attacking the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then settled his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a individual motive to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the region and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their position as important members in House Halovar could assist the team access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the powers that govern the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This means them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group will not appear the following episode, leaving the other eight participants to form the Explorers and Strategists tables.

Viewers can expect finding out which adventurers will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
